Hatters announce the signing of Eden Nibbelink for the 2024/25 season

Eden played her basketball in Luxembourg for the Musel Pikes in the 2023/24 season, having played in Germany the season before.

The 25-year-old 6’2” forward hails from Minnesota, USA and graduated from Central Connecticut State University in 2022.

During the 23-24 campaign, Nibbelink averaged 18.9 points, 12.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game.

Eden is looking forward to joining the Hatters, stating, “I’m very happy to be playing in the UK this season for the Hatters. I’ve enjoyed playing in Europe since graduating from college and I’m looking forward to continuing that journey in Sheffield.

“I can’t wait to get started and play in front of the fans!”

Sheffield Hatters Head Coach Vanessa Ellis stated “Eden is an exciting addition for us, she has great size and qualities that we are looking forward to seeing in Hatters colours.

“I feel like she will fit in well with the rest of the roster and prove to be a key asset for us.”
