Hatters add Austrian national team player Nina Krisper

The Sheffield Hatters have announced the signing of Nina Krisper for the 2024/25 season.

The 23 year-old Austrian forward joins the Hatters as a new signing for the 2024/25 season.

Krisper played for St. Poelten in her native Austria last season, averaging 18.4 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. Nina has also represented Austria on the International scene, at under-18 and senior level in 5v5 and under-23 level in FIBA 3X3 competitions.

Nina is looking forward to joining the Hatters, stating, “I’m very pleased to have signed for the Sheffield Hatters. I have heard many good things about the club so I’m excited to get preseason underway soon.

“The club is steeped in history, hopefully we as a team for this season can continue to add to that history”.

Sheffield Hatters Head Coach Vanessa Ellis stated “Nina has great experience at national and international level. Her love for the game is evident and I feel like she will be a great addition to the club for the 2024/25 season.

“She adds another dimension to our playing style so I’m looking forward to seeing this in action.”
