Bristol Flyers land Cam Holden
Bristol Flyers have completed the signing of Cam Holden from the Cheshire Phoenix
The 6’5” versatile guard becomes the third member of Coach Kapoulas’ 2025/26 roster, and joins the club on a one-year deal.
Holden brings a wealth of experience to Coach Kapoulas’ new-look squad, having spent the first two years of his professional career in Cheshire, where he was part of their Trophy-winning side of 2024.
His numbers doubled during his second year with the Nix, where he averaged 14.2 points, 6.3 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game in the SLB last season.
Speaking on his decision to join the Flyers, Holden said: “You're always excited for new opportunities as a basketball player and Bristol has given me a great opportunity to move forward in my career.
“Coach Kapoulas wants me to play a hybrid role on the team. I’m a player that’s able to play multiple positions on both ends of the floor and make the people around me better.
“One thing I always remember about playing against the Flyers is that they always play with toughness on the defensive end. I feel like Coach Kapoulas’ style of basketball really suits my game, so hopefully the Flyers fans welcome me with open arms.”
Holden spent the final two years of his collegiate career at Towson, where earned first-Team All-CAA honours in 2022 and became the second player in program history to record a triple-double in a game during the 2022/23 campaign.
Flyers Head Coach Andreas Kapoulas said: "We’re really excited to bring Cam to Bristol. He’s a highly skilled and versatile player who we see playing a key role for us this season.
"Over the past couple of years, I’ve been really impressed with his ability to impact the game in so many ways - whether it’s scoring, rebounding, creating for others, or defending multiple positions.
"He plays with toughness and a real competitive edge, and we believe he’ll be a great fit with the group we’re building this season.”
